Arsenal have officially extended their shirt partnership with Emirates until 2028.
The new commercial deal is valued at around £50m per year, matching Liverpool’s with Standard Chartered. [@TikiTakaConnor]
David Raya wants to go to Arsenal and Brentford have been informed of that. Arsenal wanted to create competition in that role but again, it’s not a done deal yet because it depends on the clubs. So we have to wait a bit longer before calling this a done deal." [@FabrizioRomano via @caughtoffside]
Ray Parlour: "Edu's got a lot of contacts, especially around Europe and Brazil, and he's seemed to fit in perfectly from Arsenal's point of view because he's an ex-player, he's been in dressing rooms which have been very successful, which is always good.
"He knows the sort of characters you probably need if you're going to be successful. He's done a brilliant job so far, the club are obviously backing the manager now and Edu and Mikel are working very hard together to try and get the players they want. I'm sure if they can get a few players out, which is sometimes difficult, then they might be looking at just one or two more players to come in." [@MirrorFootball]

David Raya has reached an agreement in principle with Arsenal on personal terms.
Brentford have been informed that he wants to join. [@FabrizioRomano]
West Ham are interested in Folarin Balogun and multiple other Premier League clubs have enquired about him. [@JacobsBen]
@DyktatorArsene napisał: "I to ja rozumiem, kluby z PL beda musialy sypnac 50 to to zrobia. Nikt nie strzela 21 goli przypadkiem w takim wieku."
Ewentualnie za mniej ale klauzula odkupu:)
Multiple Premier League clubs have enquired about Folarin Balogun.
The player feels he is being priced out of a move by Arsenal who want £50m for the striker.
[via @JacobsBen].
Folarin Balogun has asked Arsenal to drop their asking price. He's already said he won't go out on loan. Inter felt £45m was too high and have now bid for West Ham's Gianluca Scamacca. They haven't entirely ruled out signing Balogun, though.
After the 2-0 defeat to Manchester United, Mikel Arteta made the team do a full session after the game. The entire United squad & staff had changed, got ready, did media duties & left the stadium by the time the first Arsenal player came through the mixed zone more than an hour & a half after full-time. [@JordanC1107, @TheAthleticFC] #afc
Folarin Balogun is attracting particular attention. CaughtOffside understands that Balogun is not in Mikel Arteta’s plans and is also keen to leave for more playing time.
Inter Milan still looks the most likely destination for Balogun, with the Serie A giants understood not to have dropped their interest in him completely, even if they have also been in touch with West Ham about signing Gianluca Scamacca as a cheaper alternative. [@caughtoffside]
Arsenal midfielders Thomas Partey and Emile Smith Rowe are still both facing uncertain futures ahead of what could end up being a mass clear-out in the next period of the summer transfer window.
Sources with a close understanding of Arsenal’s current plans have informed CaughtOffside that Partey could still leave for the right price, despite more recent speculation suggesting he’s now set to stay at the Emirates Stadium. At the moment, however, it remains the case that the Gunners are yet to receive any offers for the Ghana international, and it’s unclear if suitors will be willing to meet the north Londoners’ demands.
Fan-favourite Smith Rowe is in a similar situation, with Arsenal open to letting him go if anyone comes in with the right kind of money, though that is yet to materialise. Elsewhere in midfield, Albert Sambi Lokonga could join Burnley, with talks well underway for him to link up with fellow Belgian Vincent Kompany. [Caught Offside]
@pbsportswriter on Holding: “I think there is interest in the Premier League, but I think he is not high on many of the target lists for defenders that clubs are trying to get. I think you’ll see more interest in him during the last week of the transfer window, when teams have moved on from targets they maybe know they can’t get anymore & move down their list. I think he’ll get a move & I think he will stay in the Premier League.” [@GiveMeSport] #afc
Declan Rice on Mikel Arteta:
“Genuinely, in the last 10 days I have been blown away by how he is constantly thinking about football, how he is so oriented to win.
“How everyone is all in the same direction to win, to be together,” he told @TelegraphSport.

Inter have always considered Folarin Balogun as priority target. Talks took place but still far from Arsenal asking price #AFC
Gianluca Scamacca, another option in the list as he could be cheaper name available on the market.
@RIVALDO700 napisał: "Za parę miesięcy 6 klubów będę znał na luzie. Teraz traktuje ich jak Arabia. Niech kupią jeszcze 30-50 grajków i zacznę analizować kto z kim gra. I ruszamy z sezonem."
Obyś się wciągnął i stąd zniknął, to będzie największy sukces arabów i dla nas spokój ;)
If the David Raya deal progresses, Aaron Ramsdale will just be the next player to have his first-choice status challenged. Matt Turner is a capable goalkeeper, as his performances for the USMNT at the Gold Cup underlined once again, but he is not considered Ramsdale’s equal and Nottingham Forest hold a strong interest in signing him this summer.
Arsenal want Raya to come in and compete for the No 1 jersey. It is not the case that the Spaniard would come in and immediately take over but, with any deal likely to demand a significant outlay, competition will be fierce in training to secure regular involvement. [@ArtdeRoche @JordanC1107]
@sickstick napisał: "Czy ktokolwiek z was jest w stanie z głowy (bez sprawdzania w necie) wymienić nazwy 3 klubów z Saudi League? :P"
Chelsea have sent formal bid for Robert Sánchez to Brighton. Negotiations are ongoing — told Sánchez has already accepted Chelsea as destination #BHAFC
Brighton hope for Sánchez to leave this summer.
Chelsea and Brighton remain in talks also for Moisés Caicedo.
Jermaine Pennant: “I think Ivan Toney would be a good signing for Arsenal. His work rate & creativity is excellent so I think he’d be a great addition if they were to bid for him. The midfield for Arsenal is sorted but I think they need a striker who can score 15 to 20 goals.” [@LordPingUK] #afc
@RIVALDO700 napisał: "W stolicy Arabii jest teraz 18:19 czyli Araby mają wszystko by podbić rynek europejski."
Inter Milan want to sign Folarin Balogun to replace Romelu Lukaku. Arsenal are asking for over €40m. Inter want to pay close to €35m-€40m. [@FabrizioRomano on @CBSSportsGolazo]
Sheffield United are in advanced talks with Arsenal over a deal for centre-back Auston Trusty. Sky Sports News understands a fee in the region of £5m has been agreed, with Trusty expected to travel to Sheffield to have a medical in the coming days. [Sky] #afc
Lazio had ‘basically’ finalised an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt for midfielder Djibril Sow, worth €15m plus bonuses, however, now Sevilla are interested, as well as Arsenal, who are trying to ‘aggressively enter negotiations’ for the player. [@calciomercatoit] #afc
Arsenal are expected to confirm an extension to their Emirates partnership in the coming days. Their current shirt sponsorship deal was signed in 2018 and ends in 2024, while the stadium naming rights, signed in 2012, are under contract until 2028. [@AAllenSport]
Arsenal are in talks with Burnley over a loan move for Sambi Lokonga. The deal would reunite the midfielder with his former coach, Vincent Kompany. [@SamJDean]
@FabrizioRomano: “I’m told Arsenal’s interest in Raya is genuine - he’s been on their radar for years & they believe this is a big opportunity on the market. Arsenal have always appreciated him & Mikel Arteta is a big fan, but now it’ll be down to the clubs to reach an agreement.” [@caughtoffside] #afc
@FabrizioRomano on Arsenal’s reported interest in Raya: “As for Aaron Ramsdale, my understanding is that the idea would be to create competition between Ramsdale & Raya - it’s not a case of replacing the England goalkeeper.” [@caughtoffside] #afc

Mikel Arteta: "It was incredible to see the level of support we had in America during our pre-season tour, and we’re so excited too to be back in front of our people in north London for the Emirates Cup.
Our tour was challenging in terms of visiting three cities with lots of travelling, and we had some very competitive and tough matches, but it was a really valuable time for us, a very well planned tour, and very worthwhile for us in the work that we did. It was great for the players to witness the belief and energy that is around the team. The way our supporters around the world follow the team is just phenomenal." [@Arsenal]
