Arsenal's last formal talks with Sporting for Viktor Gyökeres took place on Sunday.

Understand an asking price of €70m+€10m was quoted.

Discussions between all parties remain advanced, but Sporting yet to receive an improved formal bid despite the expectation of one.

Deal remains close, but Sporting will not accept €65m-fixed, and are now waiting to hear again from Arsenal before the week is out.

Arsenal were made aware that Chelsea were willing to sell Noni Madueke last summer, but his club’s position changed after he scored a hat-trick away to Wolves in August. [@TimesSport]

Może dlatego ze siedzi na ławce;) może później i z nim zaczniemy negocjować, ale teraz ten deal nie jest możliwy, bo jest na KMŚ i jego przyszłość nie jest jasna. Wstępnie rozmawialiśmy i pewnie czekamy aż się jego wyjazd zakończy i siądziemy z Realem do gadki :) to jedna z opcji. Inna jest taka, że może musimy sprzedać, żeby kupić go i zrobić miejsce w składzie. Jeszcze inna że zabraknie hajsu, a jeszcze inna że w zasadzie to tylko puszczone plotki i tym że chcemy go. Czas pokaże. Równie dobrze może przyjść Madueke i odejść Trossard, Vieira, i w jego miejsce EZE, a jak po sprzedaży będzie hajs i chęci to i Rodrygo:)

Ludzie zluzujcie z tym lamentem xD wy że skrajności w skrajność, i ta sinusoida niepotrzebnie jest nakręcana. Noni Madueke: Arsenal are preparing a first offer c. £40m+add ons. CFC will push for £45-50m guaranteed with add-ons. The feeling at CFC is Madueke would like the move and so CFC will not block it.

No właśnie to jest jeszcze ten aspekt, tak jak Gyo jest zdecydowany na nas, i mogą sobie muły chcieć go kupić. Ludzie zapominają, że jeszcze piłkarz sam ma wybór, przede wszystkim on decyduje gdzie chce grać i czy chce odejść.

Też myślę że nie damy więcej niż 40, a w sumie możemy zaczekać, i to smerfy muszą sprzedać wtedy, albo kisić 30 ofensywnych graczy na ławce. Jeśli oczywiście Madueke jest po prostu jako backup Saki, a na LS szykujemy się na Rodrygo. Zawodnik chce dołączyć, może to wyrazić później jasno zarządowi i czekać na rozwój sytuacji, i jak nam starczy siana, to go weźmiemy. To było jasne że Elanga da argument smerfom do trzymania się kwoty, ale też był bardzo dobry w zeszłym sezonie, więc mogą się przeliczyć, trzeba zaczekać aż zmienia zdanie

Chelsea will use Anthony Elanga’s £55 million move to Newcastle United as a guide for Madueke’s valuation, given the 23-year-old England international is the same age and of a similar profile to the former Manchester United player.
