No doubt it will be disappointing should Raphinha end up at Chelsea. It felt like he could make a major impact next season at Arsenal and would have really strengthened the attacking options alongside the arrival of Jesus.

It's a blow, but there's still plenty of time to work on alternatives.

True: Arsenal’s second proposal to Leeds was turned down today. Club are hesitant around the fee being touted - especially because Leeds have negotiated a big part of the fee to be paid up front, which Chelsea have accepted.
Deal not done, but Chelsea firmly in the driving seat.
