Arsenal have agreed a deal for Shamrock Rovers midfielder Victor Ozhianvuna, in a transfer which is expected to constitute an Irish record.

The 16-year-old, who is already playing first-team football in the League of Ireland’s Premier Division, will sign a pre-contract with Arsenal which means he will join when he turns 18 in January 2027.

Arsenal rozważał sprowadzenie Eberechiego Eze, jeśli Ethan Nwaneri nie podpisałby nowej umowy. Po przedłużeniu kontraktu przez 18-latka zainteresowanie „Kanonierów” znacząco spadło, a klub skupił się na poszukiwaniu zawodnika, którego naturalną pozycją jest lewe skrzydło, tym bardziej że z zespołem może pożegnać się Leandro Trossard.

Eze poinformował Crystal Palace, że chce grać w Lidze Mistrzów i widzi swoją przyszłość w Tottenhamie. Thomas Frank jest wielkim fanem talentu Anglika i w pełni popiera jego sprowadzenie. Los transferu zależy teraz od rozmów między klubami, a Spurs są gotowi zaoferować 60 mln £ i zamierzają dopiąć transfer jak najszybciej.

Równolegle Tottenham prowadzi negocjacje w sprawie Savinho z Manchesteru City. Oba transfery to odrębne operacje, a klub liczy, że uda się sfinalizować oba ruchy, co stało się priorytetem po kontuzji Jamesa Maddisona i odejściu Heung-min Sona.

Według “The Athletic”, cena 68 milionów funtów (ponad 78 milionów euro), która jest klauzulą odstępnego wpisaną w kontrakt Eze z Crystal Palace, to zbyt dużo dla Arsenalu. Szefowie Kanonierów wydają się niechętni do dokonania następnego drogiego transferu.

Thomas Partey will feature on the Premier League's official trading cards this season — after Arsenal rubber-stamped his inclusion.
Clubs were given until May to finalise the list of players they wanted to be included on the 2025-26 cards.
Arsenal approved the involvement of Partey prior to his contract with the club expiring in June. He was then charged with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault. He denies the allegations.
The cards will go on sale next month.
