Sami Mokbel: Emery's complete marginalisation of Mesut Ozil has been privately questioned by a contingent of players who believe the German still has quality to offer in certain games.

There is also a concern among the squad that Emery's tactics have severely stifled a team that was once famed for its creativity.

Emery's decision making and muddled instructions have left a number of players confused and splits have begun to appear over the handling of Mesut Özil, who has been frozen out, and summer signing Nicolas Pépé.

Piłkarze Southampton po porażce 0:9 z Leicester nie dostali wolnego weekendu. Trenowali, był też spotkania i rozmowy. Ponadto cały skład zrzekł się tygodniówek, które klubowa fundacja Saints Foundation przeznaczyła na cele charytatywne.
