Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard is reportedly weighing up his long-term future at the club, with Mikel Arteta’s side open to offers this summer.

The Norway international has been an integral player for the Gunners since his arrival in 2021 and he has spent the past three-and-a-half years as club captain after taking over duties from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

However, Odegaard could be set to depart the Emirates Stadium later this year, with both Bayern Munich and Inter Milan monitoring his situation.

Odegaard is exploring his options ahead of a possible departure during the 2026 summer transfer window.

The former Real Madrid starlet will have two years remaining on his current Arsenal contract this summer and it’s reported that Arteta’s side may look to offload Odegaard in order to help their compliance to the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

The 27-year-old currently boasts an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €76.3 million and he is therefore highly likely to usurp Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (€38m to Liverpool) as Arsenal’s most expensive sale in history if he departs north London this year.

Z całą sympatią do Odegaarda, wspiął Arsenal na pewien poziom, jednak jak się nie ogarnie do końca sezonu to będzie ostatni gwizdek żeby zarobić na nim jakieś fajne pieniądze, zagranie jeszcze jednego tak wybitnego sezonu będzie skutkować tym, że oddamy go do Juventusu za jakieś 30 mln w 15 ratach.

Co do zastępstwa, widzę dwie opcje:

1) Musiala który jest w tym momencie najlepszą dostępną „10” na świecie, to jest gość na którego warto rozbić bank, taki vibe Rice,

2) Morgan Rogers to druga opcja, będzie nieco tańszy, jednak ustępuje umiejętnościami Niemcowi, mimo wszystkim będzie sporym upgradem względem Norwega (patrząc po dotychczasowych formach)

Lubię Odegaarda, jednak nie jest już zawodnikiem z sezonu 22/23 i szczerze nie zanosi się żeby miał powrót do tamtej formy. Lato to ostatni gwizdek żeby go spieniężyć w rozsądnych pieniążkach.
