Arsenal's valuation of Folarin Balogun has put Chelsea off and they haven't pursued a deal at that price. [@iamAlexHowell, @BBCSport]

The draw for the group stage will take place the day after the conclusion of the play-off round games on Thursday, August 31.
It will take place at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, and will be streamed live on UEFA's website from 5pm BST.
Due to our UEFA club coefficient, we will be placed in pot 2 during the draw, meaning we cannot face fellow pot 2 teams Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid, RB Leipzig and Porto until the knockout stages.
What is guaranteed is that we will face a seeded team from pot 1, which means games against either Sevilla, Barcelona, Napoli, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint Germain, Benfica or Feyenoord.
We’ll also be drawn against a team from pot 3 and pot 4. Five of the sides in pot 3 are already confirmed - Shakhtar Donetsk, Red Bull Salzburg, AC Milan, Lazio and Red Star Belgrade - while the results of the qualifying rounds will determine who fills the other three spots. Everyone else will be in pot 4 alongside Union Berlin and Lens. [@Arsenal]

Arsenal are bracing themselves for a bidding war between AS Monaco and several Premier League clubs, including Fulham, for Folarin Balogun. [@kayakaynak97]
Arsenal are working on at least 7 exits before the end of the window. The club wants permanent deals, and will try to find an obligation-to-buy if a deal has to be agreed on an initial loan. [@kayakaynak97]
The expected second bid from Monaco, revealed by CBS Sports last week, is not expected to hit Arsenal's price tag of $63 million, although additional clauses and bonuses could bring it close to that value. [@jamesbenge]

Mikaël Silvestre on Partey playing at right-back: “It’s something they have worked on in training. The idea is to spread the field & spread the team & the space. With Rice in midfield, Partey can spread the space & move out to the right side of the pitch, but he’s not a right-back. It was more of having Saka further up the field.” [@bettingexpert] #afc
Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun is keen on a sensational move to Chelsea.
Monaco and Fulham are also keen on the 22-year-old who has been told he can leave this summer but Arsenal have been demanding a huge £50m fee.
It is believed Arsenal might ultimately be prepared to lower their sights and compromise just above £40m with time running out in the transfer window. [@johncrossmirror]
Chelsea are admirers of Folarin Balogun, but there is currently a big difference in valuation of the 22-year-old striker between Chelsea and Arsenal. [@Matt_Law_DT]

Mikel Arteta on Gabriel not starting and whether it’s due to transfer speculation:
“Nothing at all, it’s about games that we were expecting, how we were going to defend and attack and what I believe is the best thing.

Mikel Arteta on strict time-wasting rules: “It’s going to be very difficult for us, I guarantee you. We’ll have to play with 10, or maybe with nine or eight, because it depends where we put the standards & the level, we can maybe play with eight - it can be very entertaining!”

There has been uncertainty regarding the future of Gabriel Magalhaes after he was left out of the starting XI for the first two matches of the season.
Clubs in Saudi Arabia have been keen on trying to lure the Brazil international, while Real Madrid have also weighed up a move as they look to replace long-term injury absentee Eder Militao.
Indications are that Gabriel is most likely to stay, but there remains a small chance that Arsenal would consider letting the centre-back leave if they could find a replacement they believe is an improvement on the 25-year-old.
Marc Guehi at Crystal Palace is admired by Arsenal, but landing the England defender so late in the window would be difficult. Palace have shown an interest in Gunners defender Takehiro Tomiyasu this summer, but the Japan defender has an important role to play following the ACL injury suffered by Jurrien Timber.
