Mkhitaryan: He has not really attracted any interest whatsoever from clubs as far as I’m aware this summer. There are few indeed who could match his £200,000-a-week wages and would actually see him as someone who could make a positive impact on their side.

In fact I’ve heard from sources around Arsenal that the club have effectively accepted that they are likely stuck with Mkhitaryan and Ozil’s wage packets on the book until the summer of 2021. Until then those two deals will make it more complex for Arsenal to get players in and to match the biggest wages.

Mustafi: There have been a few rumblings this summer but no offers either to sign him permanently or on loan. Even though he is likely to be a peripheral option this season Mustafi has offered no indication that he is anything other than happy to stay put.

Arsenal will keep trying to sell him after the domestic window closes but it wouldn’t shock me if he were another one they were lumbered with until 2021.

Elneny: There have been a few links to Turkey and Fenerbahce held talks with Arsenal in May and June but couldn’t get a deal done. Still considering his wages are not as high as the others and he is relatively cheap he seems the most likely to leave
