as Arsenal see an informal proposal for captain Bruno Guimaraes rejected.

Eddie Howe is a fan of Nmecha, the younger brother of Leeds' Lukas, and considered signing him in 2023, but instead opted for Sandro Tonali from AC Milan.

That summer, Nmecha signed for Dortmund from Wolfsburg and scored his first goal for the club against Newcastle at St James' Park in the Champions League.

Guimaraes is under contract until 2028, but is one of a number of midfielders Arsenal are looking at in that position. There is an expectation at the Emirates that there will be arrivals and departures in the midfield this summer.

Arsenal are preparing a second bid for Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimaraes.
Arsenal had an informal proposal for Guimaraes rejected on Friday. However, despite an improved offer reportedly being prepared, Newcastle's position remains unchanged, as the club do not want to sell the 28-year-old.


Real Madrid have confirmed that midfielder Dani Ceballos will leave the club.
Ceballos has been at the club since 2017 and has made 215 appearances across all competitions.

Tańszą alternatywą jest Onana. Co by nie mówić mało doceniany kocur w środku pola. Dzięki jego nieustępliwości Everton trzymał poziom wtedy, kiedy nie mieli czym składu poskładać. Teraz w Villi trochę przeplatał, ale to jest twardy zawodnik z wieloletnim doświadczeniem w lidze. Także jest alternatywa....

Czy zawodnik jest wart tej ceny? Wątpię... ale jak się klub z kasą napala na zakup to trzeba skubać. Anderson jest młody, jest anglikiem i miał kontrakt w klubie, gdzie nikt nie musiał go sprzedawać, stąd ta cena wywindowała. Our men’s first team will face the Bundesliga side in this year’s Emirates Cup, to be played on Sunday 9 August, with kick-off at 2pm.

First staged in 2007 at the end of our inaugural season at Emirates Stadium, this year’s tournament will be the 15th edition of the Emirates Cup, as we proudly enter the 20th year of our partnership with Emirates Airline.

Emirates Cup 2026 will follow our pre-season matches against Girona in Spain on Saturday, 1 August and Real Betis in Dublin on Wednesday, 5 August.

We are planning for a further men’s pre-season match, to be played in midweek after the Emirates Cup 2026. Details of this match will be announced soon.

Our pre-season schedule concludes with the FA Community Shield against Manchester City in Cardiff on Sunday August 16, before we begin the defence of our Premier League title at home to newly-promoted Coventry City on Friday August 21.

Arsenal have a long-term interest in Tonali but so far have not followed that up this summer and are exploring the conditions of a deal for his Newcastle team-mate, Guimaraes.

Contact has been made through intermediaries, and it is thought an informal proposal was rejected. Newcastle have not had any contact from Arsenal directly so far and do want to sell their captain, who has two years remaining on his contract.

Although Guimaraes, who turns 29 in November, is considered by many to be among the very best midfielders in the Premier League, his age means buying clubs may not be as willing to pay as much for him as some of the other players on the market this summer.


Alex Scott at Bournemouth is another of their targets, and United – along with Arsenal – are considered the frontrunners as things stand.

Scott is perhaps not valued as highly as some of the previously mentioned players, but Bournemouth's stance that he is not for sale means it is likely that they would hold out for a big fee if one of the top clubs come calling.

Talks have already been held about a new deal, as Bournemouth hope Scott, who just missed out on the England World Cup squad, will continue under new boss Marco Rose. They also want to reward him financially after impressive performances last season.

Brentford are in talks with Burnley over a move to sign winger Jaidon Anthony on a permanent basis.

The 26-year-old is exploring options to remain in the Premier League after being relegated to the Championship with the Clarets last season.

Brentford have emerged as the frontrunners among several Premier League clubs, with Burnley expected to ask for a fee of about £20m for the Englishman.

Anthony is attracting interest after contributing nine goals and four assists across 38 appearances in all competitions last season.

Nottingham Forest are hoping to sign two central midfielders this summer if/when Elliot Anderson leaves.

The plan had always been to add one more option but with Anderson's move to Man City taking a step forward it appears two players will come in in his position.

They are are interested in Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Lucas Bergvall and Inter Milan's Davide Frattesi.

They also have a long-standing interest in Celtic's Arne Engels who, like Frattesi, they tried to sign in January.

Nie sądzę. To, że masz sianko nie znaczy, że musisz je wydać na byle co.. bo tak naprawdę tych NAJ zawodników najtrudniej będzie do siebie przyciągnąć.

Konkurencja nie śpi, a też takich prawdziwych graczy, wpływających indywidualnie na zespół i ligę nie ma za dużo na rynku do wzięcia. Większość z nich ma już swoje 'domy', o ile nie wszyscy!

Dlatego prowadzi się politykę rozsądną po to, aby w razie okazji wyskoczyć na przód szeregu i dać takiemu graczowi do zrozumienia, że jesteśmy szczytem szczytów!

Dostaną coś ala zadośćuczynienie w postaci kary pieniężnej, czego im nie brakuje, jak widać.. a jeśli na punktach się o odbije to mało-znacząco i pierwsza opcja przykryje drugą

Tak. Wszechstronny jest. Chce i ulepsza się w czymkolwiek się da. Ma GEN klasy światowej, ale jego strzały na bramkę już są słabawe.. Nie mówię o stałych akcjach, tylko o tych z gry. Więcej tego jest, ale się ciągle ulepsza.


A Madueke wydaje mi się jest po to, aby Max nie czuł się za daleko. Ma swego rodzaju kijek i marchewkę i może ciągle mieć zachętę. Przynajmniej ja to tak odbieram. Zresztą względem Nelsona, Noni wydaje się być kimś bardziej pasującym do pozycji. Wierzę, że zawsze znajdzie się w składzie zawodnik stanów przejściowych

Arsenal’s opening offer of £5m plus a 10% sell-on clause for Jeremy Monga has been rejected by Leicester City.

Leicester are understood to have lowered their initial £15m valuation and are now seeking around £10m, along with a 15% sell-on clause.
