On Wednesday, Eberechi Eze was expecting to sign for Tottenham, but before he committed, there was one phone call he needed to make. Eze called Mikel Arteta. Eze needed to know if there was any chance of making a deal with Arsenal happen.

Arsenal were still reeling from the news that Kai Havertz had been sidelined with a knee injury. They were actively looking for ways to reinforce their attack.

The injuries to Odegaard and Saka are concerning. Saka was pretty upset after the coming off but that may be down to his recent injury history which is normal. Arsenal will get confirmation of severity today post scans. Fingers crossed.

Oby cały sezon, a teraz Arteta mądrze zmienia żeby dać odpocząć, minimalizować ryzyko kontuzji. Oczywiście nie da się wszystkich zmienić, ale Ci, którzy bardziej narażeni,teraz nie muszą grać od deski do deski. Drugi plus to taki, że i podstawa i rezerwa będzie bardziej w rytmie, a rezerwa dodatkowo może w pucharach krajowych łapać minuty.
