My mamy stabilną sytuację kadrową i w pozostałych obszarach też musimy być stabilni.

Arsenal have extended their deal with long-term title sponsor Emirates, two years early. The deal is a significant increase on the £45m-a-year deal that ran until 2028. The deal is understood to include the naming rights of the stadium. ✅[@SamWallaceTel]
This summer, Josh Kroenke was briefly involved in informal talks with the Aston Villa owners regarding Morgan Rogers. Villa were unhappy with the approach to negotiations by Arsenal, who were trying to hold informal talks through intermediaries.
Arsenal indicated they would be willing to offer about £80m & it is understood they would have paid just over £100m, but were NOT prepared to meet Villa’s £120m valuation, which had increased based on the value of other transfers completed this summer.
Had Arsenal not dragged their feet, they could have wrapped up the deal weeks ago for about £100m, but perhaps still thought last week that an offer in that range may have been accepted. [@garyjacob]
Arsenal maintain their interest in Newcastle’s Bruno Guimaraes. Again, Arsenal have a clear valuation for the player, and will only proceed with the deal if Newcastle are willing to negotiate within those parameters.
Alternatively, Arsenal will move on to other targets.
Concerns over William Saliba’s fitness may intensify Arsenal’s search for defensive reinforcements. Aston Villa and England’s Ezri Konsa is a target — but once again, there is a significant gap between Arsenal and Villa’s valuations.

Arsenal were prepared to meet Club Brugge’s £34m price tag for Christos Tzolis because it matched their assessment of his value. ✅ [@gunnerblog]
Alex Scott has turned down a new contract at Bournemouth amid strong interest from Arsenal, Chelsea & Manchester United, Sky Sports News understands. It is believed the player has indicated he is NOT currently willing to agree new terms. [@SkySportsLyall]
Chelsea hold new talks with Crystal Palace over proposed move for Maxence Lacroix. Deal being handled at ownership level. Palace want minimum £60m for France international.
Aston Villa & Arsenal were always some distance apart for Morgan Rogers. Arsenal had a clear valuation: £80m. They were determined to stick to it, despite Villa’s insistence on attaining a record fee for a British player.
That game of brinkmanship was exacerbated by Arsenal’s interest in Ezri Konsa - again, with a valuation some way short of Villa’s. For their part, Arsenal maintain that any deal for Rogers was always contingent on the right price point.
When Chelsea made their move, Arsenal were contacted to see if they would be willing to match the £117m offer. They declined, choosing to focus on alternative options. [@TheAthleticFC]
Bukayo Saka & Declan Rice were part of a charm offensive to convince Morgan Rogers to join Arsenal. Martin Ødegaard also spoke to the player. Sources close to Rogers say Mikel Arteta also spoke directly with Rogers.
Arsenal came away with the impression they were Rogers’ preferred choice. During those discussions, Rogers received the impression he would be primarily used as a left winger rather than a #10. This was no deal-breaker. [@TheAthleticFC]
Whereas Chelsea had made it clear Morgan Rogers was their main choice, Arsenal’s links with Julian Alvarez, Bradley Barcola & Eli Junior Kroupi over several weeks sowed a seed of doubt in the player’s camp, despite Arsenal’s insistence he was their #1 priority.
Chelsea’s move for Rogers was agreed in 48 hours, according to sources with understanding of the deal. They say Chelsea began formal negotiations with Aston Villa & the player’s representatives on Thursday (July 16). Xabi Alonso then phoned Rogers on Friday & personal terms were agreed the same day. [@TheAthleticFC]
Arsenal have made fresh contact over Nico Williams (24), TEAMtalk understands, with the player once again firmly back on their shortlist. Andrea Berta has held discussions around Williams as Arsenal have begun exploring whether a deal is realistic this summer.
TEAMtalk understands that his contract includes a release clause worth around £77m. Spanish sources have indicated the Premier League would appeal to Williams, with Arsenal viewed as an attractive destination should he decide to leave Athletic Bilbao. [@GraemeBailey]
After missing out on Morgan Rogers, Arsenal are looking at alternatives - @Football_LDN
Bradley Barcola and Yan Diomande have been the marquee names discussed. But Mika Godts and Kerim Alajbegovic are two younger options also appreciated.
@AdamCrafton_: “I had a conversation in May with somebody who is incredibly well-connected in European football. He said the talk of people he was speaking to was Arsenal were ready to do seriously disruptive business this summer to take the team to the next level.”
@David_Ornstein: “Bradley Barcola has been mentioned, but we don’t know of active movements from Arsenal on Barcola at this moment in time. PSG’s standpoint is that they do NOT want to sell him, they would like to renew his contract.”
“Even if they are to sell him, the price in their mind would be higher - considerably, I think - than Elliot Anderson’s move to Manchester City. This is a player who has won Champions Leagues, you have got to pay the market rate.”
“He does have two years to go on his contract, he doesn’t appear to be signing, he appears to be open to moving. It seems, for multiple reasons, it’s one that might take some time to develop, whether that’s staying or going.” [@TheAthleticFC]

Some positive fitness news delivered by Ben White and Jurrien Timber to @Arsenal after returning for pre-season.
White says his knee is "all good" and he's training with the team.
Timber hopes to be "back soon" after his groin issue.
The right-back had a small op last month.
Arsenal have made fresh contact over Athletic Club winger Nico Williams as they continue their search for a marquee addition on the left side of Mikel Arteta’s attack, @TEAMtalk understands.

- Arsenal maintain strong interest in Konsa. Lacroix interest cooled a while back after I reported it.
- The club also held interest in Jacobo Ramon but Como have no intention to sell given their UCL exploits
- Newcastle remain firm on their valuation of Bruno (80-85m minimum)
- Martinelli is for sale.
- Arsenal were told 80-100m gets it done for Morgan during May-June time. This was relayed to Berta via agents. Anderson deal changed Villa’s valuation completely. Thereafter, Arsenal verbally offered 80m. They were willing to go to 100m max but the valuation had changed because the Anderson and Tonali deals had dictated the market by this point. Morgan and his family were fully set on Arsenal. Face to face meeting with Mikel now reported via major journalists too.
Arsenal were told at the end of the season that £80m-£100m would be enough to sign Morgan Rogers. Arsenal verbally offered £80m & were willing to go to a maximum £100m, but Elliot Anderson’s £116m move to Manchester City altered Aston Villa’s valuation. [@HandofArsenal]

Christos Tzolis will be in London to finalise his move to Arsenal tomorrow. If everything goes to plan, he will be announced on Wednesday. ✅[@dimitrismanakos]
Declan Rice has spoken about needing injections to numb nerve pain during the season & has NOT been fully fit during the World Cup, despite committing to play in games. The consensus is that he needs a full rest.
Bukayo Saka has nursed an achilles problem throughout the World Cup, but Arsenal are hopeful that, like Rice, Saka will simply recover with rest. [@SamWallaceTel]
Ben White is expected back in Arsenal pre-season training, having recovered from a significant knee injury. He is understood to have made good progress. Jurrien Timber is another whom the club hope can play some role in pre-season. [@SamWallaceTel]
@JacobsBen: “Christos Tzolis has already arrived, but Arsenal are looking for a starting left-winger & potentially, in addition, a more versatile box office #9 - I think both of those are high priority.”
“We need to keep an eye on the Julian Alvarez situation. Arsenal are alert to that opportunity, but it’s a difficult deal. Junior Kroupi is on the list. There’s an appreciation for Bradley Barcola, but Arsenal haven’t made any movement there yet.” [@talkSPORT]
@JacobsBen: “Arsenal have made an enquiry for Maxence Lacroix (26). The starting valuation from Crystal Palace is £55m.”[@talkSPORT]
@FabrizioRomano: “Keep a close eye on the situation of Yan Diomande (19). PSG have a verbal agreement on contract terms, but do NOT have an agreement with RB Leipzig.”
“I’m told there are more clubs who keep calling on a daily basis to understand if they can enter the deal. Arsenal did this over the recent days. There are more clubs calling behind the scenes. Now, it’s on PSG to close this story.”
“Arsenal had an agreement close with Rogers on personal terms, but they waited & another team arrived. With Diomande, it’s been three or four weeks since the agreement on personal terms, but then you have to close the deal club-to-club.”
Oo Zubi in, z Merino zrobią mistrza
Merino dziś wejdzie i wygra mecz

Exclusive:
Arsenal made the decision not to proceed with the Morgan Rogers deal.
Morgan Rogers and Arsenal never reached a full agreement on personal terms, with the player’s preference for a move never treated as an agreement by either party. Those within the club remained of the belief that Rogers’ preferred destination was Arsenal, and the foundations had already been laid.
Rogers maintained a respectful approach towards Aston Villa’s hierarchy throughout the process, prioritising the club’s ability to pursue the strongest possible sale should a transfer materialize.
Villa’s hierarchy, working under financial pressure, considered the current market to be inflated and sought to maximize the transfer fee by encouraging a competitive bidding process.
Arsenal were invited to formalise their interest alongside Chelsea, but Arsenal remained firm on the valuation set internally by the club’s recruitment team.
Arsenal’s hierarchy were not prepared to enter a bidding war or exceed their internal valuation, despite Arteta’s strong desire to sign Rogers, with the club remaining disciplined over the financial terms of the deal.
The club informed Villa they would not match Chelsea’s financial proposal or exceed their internal valuation of Rogers, as they won't allow themselves to be exploited because of their perceived need.
The decision was consistent with the club's wider recruitment strategy, which prioritizes internal valuations over market pressure and has previously seen the club walk away from deals they considered overvalued.
He who waits strikes true. He who hurries misses the mark. Arsenal had already begun assessing another deal before Villa were formally informed.

Tragiczna wtopa. Im szybciej go sprzedamy tym lepiej."
