On Rice: “Well, not yet (swelling on knee remains), and we have another session today. Let's see how he comes today and how that's feeling, but it was too early that game for him.

On Calafiori and Mosquera: “They are both out.”

Arteta on his first thought when he gets a fresh injury to his squad: “Well, first thing, what we can do better, and the second thing, that is the reality of the sport that we play in.

“But looking back in the last three seasons, we have less days of injuries than before. So, yeah, it's how you look at it. We had injuries that you have to separate, traumatic ones and the ones that are like muscle injuries and we have to improve. But we are better than some of the years.”

Arteta was asked by @TomCantonMedia if he regrets not taking Rice off earlier against Brighton: “No, no, no. He managed to do it. That's normal. Sometimes you get a hit and throughout the game, you are able to sustain that, because you are warm, and because you are adrenaline-driven.

“And then the body reacts and it reacted, probably more than we expected, unfortunately. And that's where we are.”

Arteta on January transfer incomings: “We are open to every option (loan or permanent deals). Obviously, we can find a solution that is short, medium, or long. Natomiast polityka zarządu jest tak chaotyczna, że tam ciężko to ogarnąć i nie wiem czy ktoś bardzo doświadczony by chciał się za to brać, bo tak jak napisałeś kupują chyba z nadzieją na zarobek za chwilę, a nie na budowę drużyny, albo zwyczajnie brak doświadczenia w piłce nożnej zarządu wychodzi pięknie za każdym razem.

Dokładnie to samo miałem napisać, jedna czy 2 zmiany z powodu urazu Rice moga być, ale nie lekceważył bym Bou, które gra u siebie i to kolejny z tych rywali, z którymi straciliśmy w zeszłym sezonie głupio punkty.
