Arteta on Gyokeres’ upturn in form: “I think confidence is the fundamental pillar for any person, I think, in general, whatever you do in life.

“And when you feel like you belong somewhere, that you are liked, you are loved even better and if you feel the trust of the people around you, I think then you can really hit the levels that everybody expects from you.

Zgoda, że drabinka sprzyjająca, ale to LM , plus gra na wszystkich frontach, więc krok po kroku trzeba wygrywać mecze. Też liczę na awans do co najmniej półfinału, bez większych problemów, ale rozpisywanie kolejnej rundy, gdzie nikt nie kopnął jeszcze piłki, trochę nie ma sensu, bo Bodo oczywiście pyknęło duże kluby, ale może przegrać ze Sportingiem. My musimy wygrać z Bayerem, w teorii nie jest to bardzo trudny rywal, ale ja już wiem, co się tu będzie działo w przypadku remisu na wyjeździe, a nie daj Boże minimalnej porażki, skoro nawet po wygranej bywają tu dramy xD

on Gyokeres’ form: “I think one thing leads to another. When you score the first one, the performances are good, you have more time with your teammates, you understand the games, the opponent, the league better. Everything helps.

“We know his qualities. He's undoubtedly an incredible striker. We need to feed to his qualities. We need to understand him better, understand the team, the league better, and I think we're in the right trajectory.”

On if Gyokeres doubted himself: “I don't know. That's a question for him.
