Mikel Arteta on Mosquera’s adaptation this season: “It is one of the qualities that we liked about him & when Andrea Berta proposed the player, he knew him very well & we started to analyse him - we needed a player of that profile.”

He’s a player that pushes through pain so I'm hopeful that he can be available but we have to wait and see if he's able to train tomorrow.”

On Timber, Calafiori and Odegaard: “Yeah, we will try again. Some players are quite close, but the turnaround is short, so we will try tomorrow to push everybody and if they're in good condition, they will be part of us, and if not, they won't like they haven't been in the last few weeks, unfortunately.”

Declan Rice says team set up differently against Arsenal which is why scoring goals has been rare recently:

“Yeah, I think you could say that [two excellent defensive performances]. It's been tough the last few weeks. I feel like we're probably getting more eyes on us, more scrutiny, because we've not been scoring the goals.

“It's tough when you play against back five’s. We've done it more than ever this season. 5-4-1’s, 5-3-2’s. Teams really do set up differently against us. It's down to us to break that down. Camped on the edge of their box, sometimes it is tough to break down because you're playing against top-level international players, so there's a different perspective to it.

“I know fans want to see more, but ultimately tonight, just to get through, fill that semi-final again, is a real positive, so we're happy.”

Declan Rice on Manchester City against Arsenal in the title race showdown Sunday: “Beautiful. I can't wait. It's why we play the game. When you're a kid watching games, and when you're watching the Premier League as a kid, you see these big matches, these title-defining moments.

“It comes down to if you're going to be ready, and how much do you want it, you know? They obviously have been in really good form recently. No one's going to hand you anything in this league.

Declan Rice says Arsenal want to eradicate the pain of losing the Carabao Cup final by winning on Sunday against Manchester City: “It hurts losing every final. We had to show them respect. We shared the pitch for 90 minutes and ultimately on the day they were the better team. It would have been wrong for us to walk inside and not show that respect.

“To see them lift that, it did hurt, there is that fire in the stomach to eradicate that on the weekend and yeah with six games to go in the Premier League we know how big it is so yeah let's bring it on.

Rice: “Yeah, for sure. I think we know that as a group. There's no beating around the bush. We have to perform better than we did against Bournemouth. Probably, yeah, you can say tonight, I think in the defence aspect and that we were much better recently.

But it's about doing the basics a little bit better, to a better level, you know, just the five, ten-yard passes that we're giving away a bit sloppily and just that confidence with the ball, you know, just taking more touches, relaxing on the ball, not feeling under pressure.

“Yeah, Etihad, it's the ultimate test, but it's why we play this game. So, yeah, bring it on.”

With today’s draw against Sporting, Arsenal have extended their unbeaten run in the Champions League to 12 matches, their longest streak in the competition since at least 2004/05.

Declan Rice on if there was frustration tonight: “Frustrating? No, we just got to a semi-final! No frustration, positivity all the way. Who cares what people think? All that matters is what this group thinks, what the manager thinks & we’re in another semi-final, I’m delighted.”

Spuchło, a nas dopadły kontuzje i wąska kadra, teraz jesteśmy nadal liderem , City ani jeszcze nie wygrało z nami, ani też z CP :) mimo słabej formy ostatnio, wciąż możemy nie przegrać na Etihad, i dalej wszystko zostanie w naszych nogach. City też nie będzie miało łatwo , meczyk z Bou na wyjeździe, Brendford, walczą o europejskie puchary, Villa też ;) póki piłka w grze, wszystko możliwe. Mnie przeraża mental kibiców, majty pełne już któryś raz w sezonie, i nadal potwierdza to tylko, że są hipokrytami ;)

Ale jak dowieziemy mistrza, to będą mówić, że w sumie to wierzyli, ale nie zasłużyliśmy, bo przegraliśmy mecz z Bou np ;)
